Media Center Policies

Hours
Monday- Thursday 7:00am - 3:00pm
Friday 7:00am - 2:30pm

Students must have a pass to the media center during the school day, including lunch.

Students may check out up to three books.

Most books can be checked out for two weeks at a time. Books can be renewed as long as they are not on hold for another student.

Reference books and magazines can be checked out on an overnight basis.

Late fees are ten cents a day for regular books and $1.00 for reference books and magazines.

Printing is ten cents a page for black copies.
Color copies are 25 cents for half a page and 50 cents for a full page.

Digital cameras can be checked out overnight. Have your teacher email us to let us know. You may keep the item for one night only.

The Archer High School Media Center supports the GCPS and AHS mission statements.  The purpose of the program is to support all areas of the curriculum, teach successful search strategies, facilitate effective use of technology, and encourage a lifelong love of reading and learning.
