Summer registration will be on July 14, July 21, July 27, and July 28.   Counselors will be here to work with parents on those dates, but appointments must be made through Mrs. Brittain in the main office, 678-407-7700.  In order for a student to sign up for classes during summer registration, their entire registration packet must be complete, including a current immunization on the current form and all residency documentation. 

On Thursday, July 29, from 8 am to noon ~ counselors will be available to accept completed enrollment packets and will assign classes.

If you would like to register on Thursday, August 5, from 12 - 3:00 pm or Friday, August 6, from 8 am - 2 pm; please call 678-407-7700.  Appointments will be scheduled every 15 minutes.  Due to local school and county obligations, we are not able to register students on August 4th.

2010-2011 Schedule Pick-Up

Schedule pickup for Archer's upperclassmen will be on Thursday, August 5:

                                          9:00-10:00     Senior schedule pick up
                                          10:00-11:00     Junior schedule pick up
                                          11:00-12:00     Sophomore schedule pick-up

    Schedule pick up procedure for 12th, 11th, and 10th grade students:
    You will be given your schedule by your guided study teacher.  The list of guided study assignments will be posted on the bulletin board outside the Registrar's Office, on Hall A.  Lists will be posted 10 minutes prior to the time period during which you may pick up schedules. Guided Study teachers will be in their classrooms for that time period.  After the one hour time period is over, they  may not be available to you due to other responsibilities, so don't be late. Students may NOT pick up a schedule for another student. Parents may pick up their student's schedule.  If you miss your schedule pick up time, report to the Counselor's Office on the first day of school to receive your schedule.
  • Freshman Convocation is Thursday, August 5, at 6:30 pm. 
  • Freshmen will pick up their schedules, meet their teachers, and have an opportunity to tour the school.
  • Freshmen will receive their schedules at the Freshman Convocation which begin at 6:30 in the Archer Gym.  Parents, siblings, and other interested family members are invited to attend Freshman Convocation.
  • Students who are not able to pick up their schedules on August 5 should report to the Counseling Office on August 9th to receive their schedules.
  • We are not able to provide schedules before August 5th due to our ongoing student registrations.  If you are not going to be able to get to pickup day, your student's schedule will be in the Counseling Office on August 9th.

The first day of school will be Monday, August 9.
School will be from 7:20 a.m. - 2:10 p.m.

"Advanced Placement (AP) classes for 2010-11 will not require Summer Reading. The required readings will be incorporated into the curriculum during the school year. There are only a few copies of Archer's inaugural yearbook left.  Please stop by the front office to pick yours up!  The cost is $65 and due to the small amount that we have left - it's first come, first served.  When we run out, we cannot re-order more. 

Summer Gateway Test Last Changed

The results from the Summer Gateway Test are expected in late July and participants will be notified as soon as the results arrive.

Do You Need a Certificate of Attendance Over the Summer Break? Last Changed

Beginning on June 1st, a Certificate of Attendance may be applied for in the front office Monday - Thursday.  Our office hours will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The cost is $3.00 and the turn around time will be up to 48 hours.
